My guest on the show today is Kathleen Donnelly an author and a walker which we’ll hear a lot about today. Kathleen has also overcome food addiction among many other accomplishments in her life. Kathleen has been off flour and sugar since 2017 AND she has walked the Camino across 500 miles of Northern Spain at the ripe age of 72 years young.
Kathleen lived her whole life in San Diego CA, was married for 48 years has 5 grown children and 11 grandchildren. She also cared for her husband who had Parkinson's Disease for 17 years. She earned her BA in Art and studied Expressive Arts Therapy at the European Graduate School in Switzerland.
She ran the Honolulu Marathon in 1997, walked the Camino Frances from France to Santiago Spain, and the Camino Portuguese from Lisbon to Santiago Spain and on to Finisterra, the end of the Earth in 2019. Kathleen wrote a book called Wisdom on the Camino: A Spiritual Journey Sharing Forgiveness and Possibilities to Inspire the Rest of Your Life which you can find on Amazon.
